Plot Twist

What happens when dreams don't come true, when things hoped for don't happen?  What happens when people in your life give you disappointment beyond measure? What happens when all the hopes get dashed, crushed, stepped on? 

I am reminded that it's a detour, a plot twist, a dream deferred.  How we handle these circumstances show who we really are.  Sure, I can honestly say it hurts to the very core of my being to accept a new way of living.  So I'm keeping my faith in God and in myself and learning a lot about who I am, and learning to be kinder and more loving to myself and others. Like so many times before, I have not only survived, but thrived.  Changing the paradigm requires acceptance of the new change and embrace this plot twist.  I know that the universe has a new adventure waiting, and I am ready.
