Poise

Oxford Dictionary has defined poise a noun as graceful and elegant bearing in a person.  It can also be used as a verb and means to be or cause to be balanced or suspended.

The graceful way we carry ourselves as we interact with others should be with poise.  The words we use should be used to project poise.  As we enter a new year, and leave the old behind, it's important to remember all the ways we conducted ourselves with poise and grace, much props.  We can also look at ways we could have improved some things in our behavior and conversations. I am making a commitment to myself to remember how good I feel when I respond to someone or something with poise and grace.  I also know that when I have spewed some negativeness and someone responds to me with poise, how that feels.  It's a choice and I am choosing to share my sense of poise with others.
